Just a month ago, a rash of transfers from Texas Tech and few commitments secured for next year’s recruiting class had many Red Raider fans worried. Since then, Texas Tech has made increasing advancements in recruiting, and the transfers have quieted. The most recent transfer to announce his destination is Tony Brown, who will be transferring to Colorado.

Brown was expected to be a breakout receiver sometime in the near future, but to date only caught one touchdown for Texas Tech, and never ended a season with more than 15 catches. Texas Tech has been recruiting wide receivers like crazy, and still has many capable ones on the roster, so this hit won’t be as big of a deal as some of the others.
