Jordan, Utes come back against Colorado
Freshman running back Ty Jordan had two touchdowns to help the Utah Utes score 28 consecutive second-half points in a 38-21 win at Colorado on Saturday.
Utah (2-2, 2-2 Pac 12) scored the final 28 points of the game to beat Colorado (3-1, 3-1) in a game played in the snow.
Jordan had 152 yards on 17 carries one week after posting 167 rushing yards and a score against Oregon State (2-4, 2-4).
The former West Mesquite star had an 18-yard touchdown that cut Colorado’s lead to 21-17 early in the third quarter. His 66-yard scoring scamper put the game out of reach as the Utes extended their lead to 35-21 with 4 minutes, 43 seconds remaining.
Jordan was the District 7-5A Offensive Player of the Year as a senior.
Utah closes out the regular season at home against Washington State (1-2, 1-2) at 12:30 p.m. on FS1.
