Carrolton Hebron wide receiver Trejan Bridges announced his commitment to Oklahoma on Tuesday, giving the Sooners another playmaker in the Class of 2019. Bridges chose Oklahoma over offers from Baylor, Ole Miss, Oregon, Tennessee and Texas A&M among others.

Bridges is ranked as a Top 25 overall player in the state of Texas and within the Top 30 best wide receivers in the country according to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings. He becomes the third Texas player from the 2019 class to commit to Lincoln Riley and the Sooners, joining Aledo athlete Jeffery Carter and Plano Prestonwood Christian tight end Austin Stogner.
Coming off an impressive sophomore season where he earned a second-team all-district selection, the now junior is looking to help lead the Hawks back to the playoffs among its host of other playmakers. He got off to a good start this past week against Plano High, catching eight passes for 140 yards.
Unfortunately for Bridges’ team, the Hawks fell short and will look to rebound this week against Wylie.
