The senior from the DFW area is the top-ranked offensive lineman from the state of Texas in the 247 Sports Composite Rankings and No. 13 overall in the country. At 6-7, 320 pounds, Simpson is an imposing force up front and will anchor a line for an explosive Texans offense that averaged more than 40 points a game last season.
Simpson becomes Commit No. 17 in the Class of 2018 for the Sooners and the seventh from the Lone Star State to be in the class heading to Norman.
Justin Northwest opens their season at home against Alvarado on September 1.
