Katy Stays Unbeaten With Win Over Katy Taylor

The Katy Tigers rushed for 497 yards, including 285 from RB Seth Davis, as Katy raced to a 27-7 halftime lead en route to a 67-17 win over Katy Taylor.

The Tigers move to 9-0 on the season. Katy Taylor finished at 2-8.

Katy gained 653 total yards, 25 first downs, and were 5 for 5 on 3rd down conversions. Davis scored four touchdowns on 20 carries, averaging 14 yards per carry.

QB Caleb Koger was 8 of 10 for 112 yards and a touchdown for the Tigers. Elijah Bowman completed 2 passes for 100 yards and a touchdown.

RB Dallas Glass also contributed 137 yards and 2 touchdowns on 10 carries. He averaged 13 yards per carry.

WR JR Ceyanes caught four passes for 62 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Katy outscored Katy Taylor 40-10 in the second half.

Katy Taylor was led by QB Jackson Ingram, who completed 70% of his passes (12 of 17) for 240 yards and a touchdown. RB Tyler Irving added a rushing touchdown, and WR Wyatt Fahey caught Ingram’s touchdown pass.
