Another Texan player is receiving a huge honor. Yesterday, offensive lineman Luke Matthews, son of NFL Hall of Famer Bruce Matthews and Texas A&M commit, was invited to play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

Matthews is a four star guard out of Fort Bend Elkins, and there was no way that he was going anywhere but Texas A&M. His brothers, Jake, Kevin, and Mike, all played on the Aggies’ offensive line. The Matthews pipeline to the NFL will always seemingly run through A&M.
While the Matthews family doesn’t seem to be stopping or changing their momentum, the U.S. Army All-American Bowl will definitely change. This upcoming game will be the last one that the Army will sponsor, leaving this particular bowl’s future up in the air.
