The Spring Dekaney product joins an absolutely ridiculous class of recruits for the Longhorns. Texas already has B.J. Foster, Caden Sterns, Brennan Eagles, Jalen Green, Al’Vonte Woodard, Keaontay Ingram, and recently, Keondre Coburn.

If this class pans out as well as it’s expected to right now, Tom Herman will look like an absolute genius. The wave of momentum that Texas is riding right now is insane, but it still needs to be backed up on the field. Better recruiting classes than this one have come through the 40 Acres and failed to live up to expectations in spectacular fashion. On the surface, there should be some healthy skepticism, it’s too early to declare the Longhorns as back. However, it could be the start of something big in Austin. Time will tell.
