6’2” / 218lbs

Quinlan Ford linebacker

1: What was the highlight of your 2023 football season?

The team making the Playoffs, being named to 1st team ALL-District for LB & TE, not to mention being named to Texas HS Football all 4a as 3rd LB, and getting to go to HAWAII to play in the TIKI BOWL this December.

2: What was the biggest challenge you or your team had to overcome this season?

For me, it was overcoming a torn ACL from my Sophomore season. As far as my team, it was learning to work together after losing a lot of leadership and being such a young team.

3: If you could give advice to an incoming freshman football player, what would it be?

To always go all out every play no matter the outcome. If you get hurt or make a mistake just work through it and come back better the next play.

4: If you could be a Superhero, which one would you pick and why?

Spider-Man… No matter how hard he gets hit or knocked down, he always gets up and gets the job done. He is also very reliable and always willing to lend a hand.

5: If you had to go to an island and only bring 3 things, what would you bring?

Lighter, Knife, Hammock. Gotta be able to enjoy the scenery

6: If not in the NFL winning the Super Bowl MVP, where do you see yourself in 10 years?

My goal would ideally be to be in the NFL making BIG BANK… If not, I would like to be a Texas Game Warden in my hometown area.

7: What is your go-to pre-game pump-up song?

“QUALITY CONTROL” by Lil Baby, DaBaby

8: What is your favorite football or sports movie?

Friday Night Lights

9: Name a teammate that:

A: Improved the most this year:

My Sophomore QB Payton Wallen

B: Can bench press the most:

Bryan Sanchez

C: Has the fastest 40:

Zalen Moralez

D: Has the best dance moves:

Jeremiah Coleman

E: Is most likely to become a high school football coach:

River Hugget

10: Why do you love football?

The things the game has taught me on and off the field is why I love this game. It has taught me to always work hard under pressure and to never give up when things get rough. That I can overcome all odds and obstacles that are in my way and just generally taught me how to be a better man in life.
