The Baylor Bears continue to light it up on the recruiting trail. On Monday, they got a commit from Porter safety Christian Morgan, who is considered to be one of the nation’s top athletes.

Morgan chose Baylor over a host of other offers including Houston, Texas Tech, UTSA and Indiana among others. He is now the 10th commit in Baylor’s 2018 recruiting class.
Morgan brings a tremendous amount of versatility to the class. The first-team all district selection finished with 56 tackles and one interception on defense. He also has time on offense and special teams finishing the season with 528 all-purpose yards and five touchdowns (4 rushing, 1 punt return). That speed and flexibility on the field is what makes Morgan stand out from the rest.
Morgan continues a recent surge for Matt Rhule and his staff, picking up five verbal commits in the span of two days. Baylor picked up four commits on Sunday from Friendswood Clear Brook wide receiver Mark Milton, Cibolo Steele safety JT Woods, Mansfield wide receiver Jackson Gleeson, and Hempstead safety Delarrin Turner-Yell.
With the Baylor class recruiting class doubling over the last two days, it’s safe to say that they could be one of the fastest classes as well by the time the class is locked in to Waco.
