The junior from Rockwall rushed for 314 yards and six touchdowns this season but also saw him moved from his natural position of running back to a tight end. He does have a redshirt year available and would have one year of eligibility if he chooses to transfer to another FBS school.
It’s been a tough last couple of seasons for Warren. He entered the year as one of the top running backs on the team and was looking to bounce back after missing more than half of last season with a knee injury. He had rushed for 836 yards in his first two seasons in Austin.
Neither UT or Warren himself had announced that he would be leaving campus as of posting.
