According to a report, Sonny Dykes, the head coach of the Cal Golden Bears, will be heading to coach TCU in a role that has been undetermined as of yet.
Sources tell me that former Cal HC Sonny Dykes is headed to #TCU. Role undetermined at this point

The Golden Bears didn’t exactly have a successful 2016 campaign. They went 5-7 on the year, their only wins coming over Hawaii, Texas, Utah, Oregon, and UCLA. TCU didn’t fare much better this year, and it was largely due to their inconsistent quarterback play. Dykes has some chops in the quarterback department, he was at Kentucky with Hal Mumme, one of the originators of the Air Raid, and served with Mike Leach at Texas Tech, another Air Raid disciple.
Any time you can pick up a former head coach in a different position you’re getting a win, with Sonny Dykes TCU gets a huge boost to their staff.
