The Philadelphia Eagles worst fears have been confirmed – Jason Peters will miss the rest of the season.
The Eagles (6-1), have been largely successful in due part to the offensive line giving quarterback Carson Wentz plenty of time.
The MVP candidate will now be without former Texas High School Alum Jason Peters. Peters, 35, has been an All-Star since 2008 and was still playing at the top of his game.
According to reports from Eagle coach Doug Pederson, Peters tore both his ACL and MCL.
Peters was injured during the game on Monday night. Teammates and fans alike praised Peters as he was put into an air cast and carted off the field.
Next Up
The nine-time Pro Bowler will be replaced by Halapoulivaati Vaitai.
The Eagles could look for another tackle to replace Peters, but will have to do so in a hurry with the trade deadline quickly approaching.
