One of the most dynamic and versatile playmakers from the Lone Star State has made his college decision. On Monday, Rockdale athlete Jaqualyn Crawford announced his commitment to the Oklahoma Sooners on his Twitter page.

Crawford chose the Sooners over offers from Texas, Auburn, TCU and Notre Dame among others. He also becomes the 15th commit in the Class of 2018 for new head coach Lincoln Riley.
Crawford has had big years each of his last two seasons for the Tigers. He was named the District 10-3A-Division I MVP as a junior, spending time at both receiver and cornerback. On offense, the four-star athlete hauled in 54 passes for 1,133 yards and 14 touchdowns. He also had three touchdowns rushing in 2016. He also had 2 interceptions last season as a corner and also had three return touchdowns.
The do-it-all athlete is a valuable get for the Sooners and Lincoln Riley. As for his senior season, Crawford hopes to lead the Tigers to greater heights in 2017 after finishing 11-2 last season.
Rockdale opens the season at West High School on September 1.
