At 6-foot, 170 pounds Roshauud Paul is one of the elite and most elusive high school athletes in the country. It’s no wonder that he tops the list of the MaxPreps Small-Schools (2A-3A) Preseason Offensive All-Americans.
Paul, the lone Texas player on the list, has verbally committed his next four years to Texas A&M. The Rivals three star prospect attracted 12 offers including some from other large Texas schools like TCU, Houston and Baylor; Paul is listed as an Athlete. That’s due in large part to his ability to play on both sides of the ball.
Using his devastatingly quick feet, Paul excels as a dual-threat quarterback and is deadly in the open field. Yet using his keen football awareness, Paul doubles as the Bremond Tigers’ safety.
Last season Paul led the Tigers to a Class 2A Division 2 state championship. During the championship season, Paul threw for 28 passing touchdowns and ran for 36 touchdowns. In addition to the offensive assault, Paul accrued 58 tackles and five interceptions last season. Aggies rejoice! They’ve recruited a special one.
