On a weekend that saw TCU’s offense struggle against a stifling West Virginia defense, the Frogs saw the future of their offense improve by leaps and bounds. Prolific DeSoto quarterback Shawn Robinson was already committed and looks to be the future of the program at his position, and now he’ll have two big-time targets to throw to: Omar Manning and Jalen Reagor. When this combination of talent matures, we might be staring at another Kolby Listenbee/Josh Doctson-esque combo for the Horned Frogs’ offense.

Jalen Reagor is wanted by nearly every single program in the country, but the four star WR chose to commit to TCU after leaving the stable of the Oklahoma Sooners. Reagor is an Under Armour All-American, and has been the deciding factor for Waxahachie in a fair amount of their games. He’s an instrumental player for the Indians, and can hurt you in a variety of ways. He’s both quick and fast, which seem like the exact same thing, but are wildly different. He can change directions on you, and then beat you in a one-on-one race down the field. He’s tailor-made for the style of Air Raid that TCU runs.

Omar Manning isn’t much different, in terms of how he plays. He’s a deep threat, dangerous when the ball is in the air, and he can hurt you after the catch. The Lancaster Tigers have been blessed with Manning for a number of years. He’s an Army All-American Bowl player for the West team, and has some gaudy stats himself.
With TCU’s “Big Three” now set, the Horned Frogs are looking very good for the future. They still have issues on the defensive side of the ball, but with Gary Patterson at the helm, it’ll be hard for that defense to stay bad for very long. TCU is far removed from their 2014 run at the College Football Playoff, but with this level of recruiting, it’s hard to see them staying away for very long.
