Just when it seemed as if TCU would have to settle for three commits in three days, Van offensive tackle Kris Dike also hopped on board on Saturday with a late-night commitment.

A three-star talent, Dike sided with the Horned Frogs over offers from Colorado, Memphis, Houston, Oklahoma State, North Texas, SMU and Tulane.

Following his Saturday night pledge, TCU now holds 11 total offers — three of which are from offensive linemen — and picked up four commitments between Thursday and Saturday.

HornedFrogBlitz broke down what Dike brings to the table as a Power 5 prospect:

At 6-foot-6, 285-pounds, Dike has perfect size and has a frame that can hold 20-25 more pounds. Dike is strong, very strong; he loves to punish defensive linemen that get in his way; just watch thirty seconds of his film and see why. Although he’s not very straight line fast, Dike does have some quickness and does well against smaller, quicker defensive ends. He can also be seen doing an occasional pull on sweeps which is pretty impressive as a left tackle.

A high-ceiling prospect out of east Texas, Dike ranks as the nation’s No. 958 player, No. 84 offensive tackle and the No. 128 player in Texas, per 247Sports Composite. TCU’s 2018 class is now ranked No. 27 nationally and No. 6 in the Big 12.
