One of the top returning playmakers from a very good Texarkana Texas High team has made his college decision. Wide receiver Tevailance Hunt announced his commitment to the Kansas Jayhawks over the weekend.

The three-star recruit chose the Jayhawks over offers from North Texas, Arkansas State, and Iowa State among others. Hunt had an impressive junior campaign as he finished with 36 catches for 701 yards and 10 touchdowns earning him a first team all-district selection.
Hunt will also join fellow receiver and teammate Quan Hampton in Lawrence after next season as Hampton signed with Kansas back in February. The two receivers made an impressive duo on the outside as the Tigers went undefeated during the regular season before being upset by West Mesquite in the Class 5A Divsion I playoffs. Hunt will now have an opportunity to show off his talents even more next season.
