We are ranking the top 10 All-Time Best NFL Defensive Players from Texas HS Football. The list is based only on the players’ NFL careers, not their high school careers.
Zach Thomas is our 8th-ranked player from Pampa, Texas. Our number #9 player was John Randle, and you could argue him at #8 because he did have one more first-team All-Pro selection than Thomas. But, we gave the nod to Thomas for having a dominant 8-year prime in which he was first-team All-Pro 5 times and second-team twice, with 7 Pro Bowl selections and leading the NFL in tackles twice.
