Prince announced his verbal commitment via Twitter Friday morning which gave A&M a total of ten commitments in the class of 2018. Per 247Sports team rankings, Prince’s commitment now ranks them at No. 12 overall.
The 6-foot-1, 196-pound running back gave quite the performance at A&M’s mini-camp this past Sunday where he excelled at one-on-one and individual drills and also ran an impressive 4.52 forty. His performance made it easier for Aggie running backs coach Clarence McKinney to extend the offer. He also held offers from UCLA, Purdue and Kansas.
Prince rushed for over 417 yards and eight touchdowns last year in his junior season on a talented Manvel squad that fell two rounds earlier than anticipated to state finalist Temple.
