“I am so happy to announce that I have committed to be apart of the Texas tech family,” Marshall said in his Twitter announcement.
A three-star prospect, Marshall sided with the Red Raiders over 10 other offers, including invitations from Colorado, Kansas State, Missouri, Houston and Kansas, among others. In doing so, he now becomes Texas Tech’s fifth offensive line pledge this cycle and ranked as the nation’s No. 781 player, Marshall is the highest ranked offensive line commit and the third-highest ranked pledge overall.
Collectively, Kliff Kingsbury’s 2018 haul now consists of 17 total commitments and ranked No. 54 nationally and No. 8 in the Big 12.
A 6’2.5, 333-pound prospect, Marshall is ranked as the nation’s No. 35 offensive guard and the No. 108 player in Texas, per 247Sports Composite.
