Whitehouse DE Trevor Lawrence Commits To Texas State

Trevor Lawrence of Whitehouse will be joining the Bobcats of Texas State after he finishes up his senior year with the Wildcats, per a Twitter post he made.

Whitehouse posted a 6-5 record in 2016. Their season ended with a 51-14 first round loss to College Station, who went all the way to the semifinals before suffering a one-point loss to Calallen.

The Bobcats will certainly need the help, they posted a 2-10 record in 2016 and didn’t win a game from October 1st onward. Defenders like Lawrence will help, but Texas State will need much, much more if they plan on competing for titles soon.
