Arguably the most prolific running back in the history of UTEP football has played his last game for the Miners. Aaron Jones officially announced that he will be going pro today in a press conference.

Jones had a stellar 2016 despite the Miners 4-8 record. The junior rushed 229 yards for 1,773 yards and 17 touchdowns. Ultimately, he thought it was more beneficial for him to go now than to wait.
Jones will leave UTEP as one of the best and most beloved players in Miner football history.
