Sources have indicated to 247 that former Arizona quarterback Anu Solomon plans to transfer to Baylor. Solomon was Arizona’s starter since his redshirt freshman year, but suffered a knee injury this year and never got his starting job back.
The Bears still have Zach Smith, so they’re not completely drained at the quarterback position. Solomon certainly has the ability to not only start but excel for the Bears, but he’ll have to win the starting job first. Either way, this is a good pickup for depth reasons. Matt Rhule and Baylor continue to make great moves.
