Coker becomes the eighth commit in the Class of 2019 for the Gators and the first commit from outside the state of Florida. The Gators currently have the top ranked recruiting class in the Class of 2019 according to 247 Sports Composite.
At 6-7 and 330 pounds, Coker is one of the biggest offensive lineman in the state. He was named as an honorable mention all-district selection as a sophomore last season and should have ample opportunity to showcase his talents this season for the Mustangs. He also becomes the third Katy Taylor teammate to make their verbal commitments within the last week.
Defensive end Max Wright announced his commitment to Texas A&M this past Friday while Ben Montgomery committed to Houston on May 30.
