Jojo Robinson has had a winding road to say the least. He was originally committed to Florida State, but found himself at Arkansas in 2014. He was released by Bret Bielema in 2015, and Bielema stated that he wanted to “transfer to a Big 12 program”. On Monday, Robinson announced that his next destination would be Lubbock.

Texas Tech isn’t wanting for talent at the receiver position, but the former four-star recruit might make an instant impact. An instant impact might just be what the Red Raiders need after a lackluster 5-7 season. Texas Tech had arguably the best quarterback in school history in Patrick Mahomes, and yet still couldn’t find a way to transfer the miles and miles of offense they put up into wins. After only making two bowls in four years, Kliff Kingsbury desperately needs a gamebreaker.
