To say that the Dallas Cowboys offseason has been eventful would be an understatement. On Friday, the team found out they have to deal with yet another suspension. Newly acquired defensive end Damontre Moore was suspended two games on Friday for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy.
He was arrested for DWI back in December when he was a member of the Seattle Seahawks.
Damontre Moore's suspension stems from DWI in Seattle. Cowboys chose to sign him knowing about it. They have been happy with him.

It’s a list that includes defensive linemen David Irving and Randy Gregory, linebacker Damien Wilson, cornerback Nolan Carroll and running back Ezekiel Elliott. Elliott has not been charged with a crime nor has he been disciplined by the NFL.
The former Texas A&M Aggie and Rowlett standout has moved around quite a bit since he first entered the league back in 2013 as a third round pick by the New York Giants. He signed with the Cowboys back in March in order to provide depth at the position and replace several starters who have either been suspended or left via free agency.
He is still eligible to participate in camp and in preseason games.
The Cowboys opened up training camp this past week in Oxnard, California. Their first preseason game will be against the Arizona Cardinals on August 3 as part of the Pro Football Hall of Fame festivities in Canton, Ohio.
