Former Austin Westlake Quarterback, Drew Brees, announced his retirement after 20 years in the NFL via Instagram.
Brees spent the last 15 years with the Saints, where he won Super Bowl XLIV and Super Bowl MVP, and his first 5 years with the Chargers. Brees finishes his career with 80,358 passing yards, the most all-time just ahead of Tom Brady. He is also first all-time in completions and completion percentage and second in passing touchdowns with 571. He was a 2-time NFL Offensive Player of the Year, 1 Firs-Team All Pro Team, 4 Second-Team All Pro Team, and a 13-time Pro Bowl selection.
