North Texas got one of the guys they wanted the most in Duncanville RB/WR Tre Siggers.
Congratulations to @duncanville_fb senior Tre Siggers! He'll be playing football at UNT next year! 🐾🏈 pic.twitter.com/KTmMg0C0Oy

247 has Siggers as a three star wide receiver, but he also played some safety and running back while guiding Duncanville to a spot in the quarterfinals, where they lost 42-23 to Allen.
Duncanville ended up 11-3, and that record could’ve been better if not for a close loss to Cedar Hill and a game against DeSoto that got away from the Panthers early. Regardless, a 8-2 record while playing in one of the toughest districts in Texas High School Football is nothing to sneeze at.
Siggers will join a Mean Green squad that went 5-8 in 2016, but made serious waves in their bowl game against Army, and won the right to play in that bowl game off their academic prowess. The Mean Green are looking up, and with guys with explosion like Siggers on the roster, that turnaround could be coming quicker than expected.
