TCU’s lone 2020 pledge is now back on the market after Louisiana wide receiver Jacobi Bellazin decommitted from the Horned Frogs on Saturday afternoon.

“Over the past 5-6 months, I have had some changes in my life and I believe that more are to come,” Bellazin said.

Likely among the changes Bellazin was referring to is the influx of offers that have poured in for the Baker High School product this offseason. Among the 23 offers he holds to date are Oregon, Georgia, Kansas State, Ohio State and Tennessee, among others.

As far as the Horned Frogs are concerned after losing a pledge from a prospect that called TCU his dream school at the time of his April 1 commitment, Gary Patterson’s 2020 class is once again a blank canvas, which is right on par with most of the country.

Don’t expect TCU to back away from it’s first 2020 commit now that he’s reopened his recruitment, though. This simply seems to be a case of an elite prospect taking time to evaluate his options with an entire three seasons of high school football still ahead of him.
