Three SEC schools received some good news on July 4. They are all still in the running for a 4-star recruit who could bring some fireworks to their offense.
Hezekiah Jones, a 4-star wide receiver out of Stafford, Texas announced his top five schools. Texas A&M, Alabama and Auburn all made the cut for the 2017 product, as did Houston and Notre Dame.
Jones was committed to Baylor but he decommitted on May 28, shortly after Art Briles was removed as head coach.
The 4-star wide receiver is the No. 129 recruit in the country, the No. 17 wide receiver and the No. 17 player from the state of Texas in the 2017 class.
