The Bryan-College Station community has a new a state-of the-art multi-sport athletic complex, aimed for the development of local athletes. With the grand opening of Field House Sports BCS, led by former Texas A&M football standout Ty Warren, athletes in the area no longer have to travel far to for top-tier training.
“It is a place the community can call its own, that kids can come to and workout, be involved in youth leagues and draw from the experiences like myself and others who have gone off and done well [in sports],” Warren said.
Warren, who played on the defensive line at A&M from 1999-2002, stated that new 30,000 square-foot facility is one where local youth can train and practice seven different sports.
“We want to expose kids to as many sports and opportunities,” Warren said. “We just want to provide any and every opportunity that is there for us.”
Each sport will be run by a designated professional along with other former collegiate and professional athletes, like Facility manager and softball-pro Tara Archibald, who will help teach and train kids in specific sports
