2017 turned into a special season for Jackson, finishing with 48 tackles, 18 pass breakups and a national-best eight interceptions on the year, two of which he took back for touchdowns. His breakout game came in a 55-31 upset win over Ohio State in November, where he finished with three interceptions.
His play earned him a unanimous All-American selection and was a finalist for the Thorpe Award which is given to the nation’s top defensive back.
Jackson is expected to be one of the top cornerbacks selected in the 2018 NFL Draft, which will take place April 26-28 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
