In his short time in Norman, Lamb has made quite an impression on the coaching staff and first-year head coach Lincoln Riley. Riley had previously stated that he along with senior Jeff Badet would be returning kicks for the Sooners. With the depth chart being released, it appears that the true freshman will see a bigger role on offense this season.
Simply put, Lamb was a beast last year for the Falcons. Among the accolades of being named the District 27-5A MVP, the Falcon put up some staggering numbers: 98 catches, 2,032 yards and 33 touchdowns. The total yards and touchdown receptions were the fourth-highest and second-highest totals for a single season respectively. He was a big reason why Richmond Foster made it all the way to the Class 5A Division I state semifinals in 2016.
Oklahoma starts their season on Saturday against UTEP at 2:30 p.m. Central.
