Georgetown continued their impressive season on Friday night with a commanding 65-21 victory over Lake Belton, extending their winning streak to five games. The Eagles were in control from the outset, jumping to a 51-14 lead by halftime and never looking back. This dominant performance brings Georgetown to an 8-1 record on the season, solidifying their reputation as a top team in the district.

Quarterback Kaleb Mcdougle was exceptional, completing 80% of his passes for 372 yards and three touchdowns. His accuracy and poise kept Georgetown’s offense moving efficiently throughout the game. Running back Jett Walker was equally unstoppable, rushing for 184 yards and averaging an impressive 11.5 yards per carry. Walker’s performance marked his seventh consecutive game with over 100 rushing yards, showcasing his consistency and explosiveness.

Xavier Warren also played a key role, racking up 158 receiving yards to stretch the Lake Belton defense. Georgetown’s ability to execute on both the ground and through the air proved too much for Lake Belton to handle, keeping the Eagles comfortably ahead.

With this decisive win, Georgetown heads into their next matchup against Cedar Park on Thursday, looking to keep their scoring streak alive. The Eagles have consistently put up at least 31 points in every game this season, and they’ll aim to continue that trend on the road.
