Grapevine Quarterback Commits To Texas Tech

Yesterday Texas Tech secured a huge commitment from a 4-year starter to be from Grapevine: quarterback Alan Bowman.

Recruiting is picking up for the Red Raiders, and with this coaching staff’s track record with evaluating quarterbacks, it’s a pretty huge compliment to Bowman. The gunslinger from Grapevine threw for 3,240 yards and 42 touchdowns to only 6 interceptions in a mere 12 games. Grapevine’s 2016 season was ended by the hands of the Aledo juggernaut, but with Bowman returning for his senior season, the Mustangs will still have a huge shot at being excellent next year as well. This is a good pickup for the Red Raiders.
