Four star Houston Lamar wide reciever Al’Vonte Woodard has committed to Texas, per a video he released on Twitter.

Tom Herman’s utter coup in recruiting continues with Woodard’s commitment. Texas has always recruited excellently, but it’s still a tad staggering to see the talent that Herman has pulled in recently, especially given the Longhorn’s recent lack of success in terms of wins and losses.
It’s an absolutely loaded wide receiver class in the state of Texas, and Woodard hails from an absolutely loaded team in Houston Lamar. The Texans have three four star or higher recruits in the skill positions, and likely have many more waiting in the wings. The Texans open the season with Houston Westfield on September 1st.
