The Hurricanes of Fort Bend Hightower will storm into Jack Rhodes Stadium in Katy on Thursday night to take on the Paetow Panthers. The kickoff is set for 7 PM.
Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes (6-1):
Hurricanes Offense
Hightower is coming off a 61-0 rout of Fort Bend Kempner last week in which QB Kendron Penson accounted for four touchdowns. For the season, he has 1271 yards passing, eight touchdowns, and only one 1 INT. He also has four rushing touchdowns, which leads the team.
RB Jeremy Payne is the leading rusher with 561 yards and 1 touchdown.
Two of Penson’s favorite targets are WR Kaleb Johnson (25 catches, 469 yards, 3 touchdowns) and WR Caleb Douglas (21 catches, 465 yards, 3 touchdowns).
Hurricanes Defense
The Hurricanes offense is averaging 399 yards per game.
The defense is led by Skyler Robinson (36 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks) and Julian Payne (33 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, and 1 INT). They have allowed just 10 points per game and have pitched three shutouts so far this season.
Paetow Panthers (7-0):
The Panthers are scoring a whopping 55 points per game on offense. They won the only meeting between these two teams, a 10-7 victory in 2020.
