In a move that shouldn’t surprise anyone, Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett announced that he would be returning to Columbus for his senior season.
I’m coming back for my senior year. Much love to Buckeye Nation and thank God for the blessings. https://t.co/iOhLTX7FvR

Barrett finished the year with 3,400 total yards of offense and 33 touchdowns. He was also awarded the Chicago Tribune Silver Football, given to the Big Ten player of the year, at the end of the regular season.
This move will also give Barrett an opportunity to work with new quarterback coach Ryan Day and reportedly former Indiana head coach Kevin Wilson. Despite some speculation, Barrett will come back for one final season with Ohio State.
