Lincoln Riley has hit the ground running since being named head coach of the Oklahoma Sooners after Bob Stoops suddenly retired last week. He flipped an in-state recruit from the Longhorns, and it’s rumored that more flips are on the way. His latest coup is snagging Ruffin McNeill to be his new defensive line coach.
Can confirm Lincoln Riley will hire Ruffin McNeill as a defensive line coach. Will share DL duties with Calvin Thibodeaux.

McNeill played for East Carolina under Pat Dye, and is known around Texas for his ten years with the Texas Tech Red Raiders before being removed by Tommy Tuberville in favor of a different defensive coordinator. Under McNeill, Texas Tech improved in every single defensive category.
