“After praying on it and talking with my family I am very excited to say I am committed to Illinois State University to further my Education and Football career,” Gardner said.

A rising prospect, Gardner picked up his Illinois State offer on February, which marked his second total offer at the time. While Baylor is yet to offer, Matt Rhule ad the Bears are involved in Gardner’s recruitment, as well.

Gardner racked up 62 total tackles as a junior.

At 5’10.5, 180 pounds, Gardner is currently unranked.
