Williams is the No. 1 running back in Texas for the 2018 class. That puts him at No. 8 nationally at his position and No. 84 overall in the 2018 Scout 300.
Still with two full seasons of high school football ahead of him, Williams has established himself as a productive, big-play back during his freshman and sophomore seasons. He earned Scout’s Freshman of the Year honors for the Midlands Region (Texas and the Plains) in 2014, when he ran for 888 yards and 11 touchdowns on 7.9 yards per carry, while catching 18 passes for 333 yards and three scores on 18.5 yards per reception.
As a sophomore, Williams ran 996 yards and 12 touchdowns on 11.1 yards per carry, while catching 14 passes for 202 yards and one score. In two seasons for Crosby, he’s helped CHS go 24-3 at the Texas Class 5A level while gaining 2,419 yards from scrimmage.
