Frumhogen was a former Army All-American from Tampa, Florida and arrived at Clemson as part of the 2015 recruiting class. He was a four-star prospect that had a number of offers from other top programs across the country.
The junior started nine games in two seasons with the Tigers, including eight starts a year ago at right tackle. Following the season, Fruhmogen transferred to Florida back in June but left shortly after arriving on campus. Per SicEm 365, he did not go through a workout or attend a class.
Fruhmorgen becomes the third Baylor transfer to programs with Power 5 connections. Former Tennessee running back Jalen Hurd and Texas A&M defensive end James Lockhart transferred in earlier this offseason and will both be eligible in 2018.
