Who Should Start At QB For The Longhorns, Ehlinger or Buechele

This is a big year for the the Longorns and head coach Tom Herman. Never mind the massive weight on his shoulders to turn the program around— Texas style, which means most folks expect Herman to have his team in the hunt for the national title at a minimum. The most important decision to get him on that road is who to start at QB this year.

With just 110 days until kick off of the 2018 season against Maryland on September 1st, Tom Herman and his Longhorns still have a lot of work to do, and a big decision to make at QB. Do you go with more game experienced junior Shane Buechele, or the up and coming sophomore Sam Ehlinger.

Our opinion is to go with Ehlinger. He doesn’t quite have the arm of Buechele…yet, but he has other game breaking factors we think should put him in a position to lead the Longhorns this season.
