WACO — Baylor head coach Matt Rhule informed reporters Tuesday senior offensive lineman Ishmael Wilson and junior defensive back Jourdan Blake are no longer with the football program for undisclosed reasons.
Running back Terence Williams will remain with the Bears despite reports emerged Monday he would also be leaving. Rhule did not disclose a particular incident or reason that would bring Williams’ status in doubt.

Williams posted on Snapchat that “it was fun while it lasted,” bringing his status into question. On Tuesday, Rhule said that he was given another chance after speaking with him and the team’s leadership council. He had missed the first three games of the season due to an injury and made his season debut on Sept. 22 against Oklahoma.

Wilson, a senior lineman, started his career at Texas A&M before transferring to Baylor. He played in 13 games last season and started all but one but had battled injuries this season, playing in just three games.
Blake, a junior from Princeton, Texas appeared in 15 games but had not started a game. He appeared in all five games this season for the Bears and recorded five tackles and a pass deflection.
Baylor has a bye this week and will play again on Oct. 14 when they travel to Stillwater to play Oklahoma State.
