Top 25 brought to you by www.JamarRoofing.com
We’ve had a shake-up at the top of our rankings. Austin Westlake takes over our #1 spot. The Top 10 will likely be fluid over the first few weeks as many of the 6A teams are just starting their seasons. DeSoto jumped from #11 to #5 this week coming off of their 37-0 win over our previous #16 Converse Judson. Converse Judson fell out of our top 25 but could work their way back in with a win this week.
Moving into our top 25 and all the way up to #13 is Cypress Bridgeland who is coming off of a 27-21 win over Alvin Shadow Creek. We still think Shadow Creek has top 10 potential and has a legitimate chance at a state title run, but with an 0-2 start they have fallen to #25. Argyle is at #20. We get pushback on including 4A teams, but at 5-0 with an average win margin of 24 points, the Eagles deserve their ranking. The same can be said for #23 Carthage, who is 3-0 with an average win margin of 25.
