Tony Brown will be the third player to announce his transfer from Texas Tech this spring.

Wide receiver Jonathan Giles and defensive tackle Breiden Fehoko announced their transfers during the offseason as well. Fehoko has already locked himself into LSU, but Giles’s destination is still up in the air.
Brown had 13 receptions in 2016, one less than his 14 receptions in 2015. He did not have a touchdown in 2016, as opposed to one scoring catch in 2015.
The Red Raiders went 5-7 in 2016 and missed a bowl game for the second time in Kliff Kingsbury’s four year tenure.
