Charles Walker’s journey to the NFL was strange to say the least. He declared during the middle of last year’s college football season, effectively sitting out the last half of his senior year, citing concussion issues. Later, news came out that Walker was battling a case of depression as well.
With his life now back on track, the former South Garland Colonel and Oklahoma Sooner has the next chapter of his life set with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Walker is a very low risk, high reward pickup for the Eagles. Mel Kiper reportedly thinks that he could’ve been a first rounder if he had finished the year with Oklahoma, and he was projected as a sixth-seventh rounder regardless. His career with the Sooners didn’t exactly go as planned, but his career with Philadelphia might just be taking off.
