McCormick Runs all over LA Tech

UTSA sophomore running back Sincere McCormick’s trio of touchdowns helped the UTSA Roadrunners outlast the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs 27-24 on Saturday.

The former Converse Judson star posted 167 yards on 37 carries and scored two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to lift UTSA (4-3, 2-1 Conference USA) over Louisiana Tech (3-3, 2-2). The Roadrunners snapped a three-game losing streak.

McCormick’s 45-yard rushing score with 6 minutes, 16 seconds remaining proved to be the winning score.

McCormick was a star at nearby Judson where he had more than 3,400 yards and 43 touchdowns and was an all-state first-team selection as a junior.

UTSA visits Florida Atlantic (1-1, 1-1) on Saturday at 11 a.m.
