A 6’5, 285-pound prospect, Robinson chose SMU over eight other offers, including invitations from Rice, Texas State, UTSA and Virginia, among others.

With Robinson on board, Morris and the Mustangs are now up to 11 2018 commits as part of a class that now headlines the AAC and ranks No. 41 nationally. More notably, every single one of SMU’s current pledges hail from within the state of Texas’ borders, which is certainly a statement considering Morris and his staff are recruiting against Tom Herman at Texas, Matt Rhule at Baylor, Gary Patterson at TCU and Kevin Sumlin at Texas A&M, among others.

Ranked as he nation’s No. 124 offensive tackle and the No. 223 player in Texas, Robinson is currently the fourth highest ranked commit in SMU’s class.
